Viewers be warned, this will be an emotional film, so better come prepare with lots of tissues. George Clooney is such an amazing actor in this movie. He is able to portray the waves of roller coaster emotions that the character demands, for example having to announce to friends and relatives about the coming death of his wive, being knock the wind out of him after having discover that his wife is having an affair, not to mention that he is the last person to know about it, and juggle with the feelings of confronting his wife lover and being blamed by his in-laws that he failed as a husband. An excellent movie worth the money for.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Synopsis: When a terrorist bombing destroys the Kremlin, the United States government initiates a black ops "ghost protocol" and disavows the entire Impossible Mission Force. Ethan Hunt and his team are to be blamed for the attack, but are allowed to escape as part of a plan to enable them to operate in the dark, outside of their agency. However, Hunt is warned that if any member of his team is captured during their mission, they will be charged as terrorists planning to incite global nuclear war. Ethan (Tom Cruise) is then forced to work with ex-IMF agent Brandt (Jeremy Renner), who knows more about Hunt and his past than even Hunt himself. [Source: Yahoo! Singapore Movies]

Great cars, great actions and great scenes filmed across 3 countries, need I say more? The film in itself certainly did not disappoint audiences with actions that made the impossible missions possible. It was certainly fun watching Tom Cruise scaling the 100+ storeys tower with bare hand and see his team members levitating and navigating across a maze of steaming hot pipes! The movie length was just nice and coupled with spectacular scenes from Moscow, Dubai and India, this movie is worth your money to pay for.

Desperate undergrads pray to 'bell curve god'

SINGAPORE - It seems desperate undergraduates at a local university are willing to do whatever it takes to help them in their exams - including giving offerings to the "Bell Curve God". The bell-curve refers to a grading method where students' grades are assigned based on the relative performance of their peers. A netizen, SanFran, found photos of a make-shift "shrine" installed in one hostel room, with offerings of biscuits, cup noodles and other snacks placed on it. The photos were taken during the year-end exam season. One picture even shows a sign hung up on the ceiling, that "cursed" whoever entered the room without a food offering for the "Bell Curve God".
