Looper

Synopsis: "Looper" is an action-packed science fiction thriller set in the future, where time travel is possible but illegal and only used by crime syndicates, for what better way to hide a body than to send it 30 years into the past? Joe (Gordon-Levitt), a 'Looper', and one of the best there is, is recruited by the mob to do one thing, which is to wait for his 'future' target to be sent back in time before killing them, until one day the syndicate decides to 'close the loop'. His future-self (Willis) is sent back for assassination and young Joe finds himself unable to pull the trigger. Now, the two of them must find a way to send older Joe back into the future, while being on the run from the mob. [Source: Yahoo! Singapore Movies]

Interesting storyline evolving around time travel, where events that are being altered in the past can change the future. The opening 30 minutes can be confusing though as the movie keep jumping around scenes that are happening at different timeline. However, when the movie gets into its main theme, it can be quite draggy at times. One comment I will like to make is that their choice of weapon looks kind of old fashion to me. Can't they do something better 30 years down the road? The ending scene was quite a surprise to me as I didn't expect it to end the way it is. This is an average movie to watch if you have time to spare.

An interesting story that focus on the growing up story of the 2 wolf child. I guess the point the director is trying to make in the anime is that it does not matter what you are born with, but who you choose to become. The 2 children characters in the anime are exactly opposite each other. As they grow up, they have to decide for themselves the path they are going to take. The storyline of this anime are quite mature and is not exactly suitable for children. I will recommend this anime for teens and up. If you want to catch this, it is exclusive only to Filmgard in Singapore.
