Sakura Cuisine

How long has it been since we last seen each other? 6 months? Time really flies. Meal time was spent on updating past and present events, which unfortunately quickly spiral down to gossips. Well, this is what usually keep the group conversation going right? =p At a colleague suggestion, we decided on Sakura Cuisine as it is firstly halal, and secondly the food there is not bad. For this time round, it is my turn to treat, so luckily, the price of the food this time is not that expensive. *phew* =)
.
You can find the shop located at Far East Plaza Level 5, which up to just recently, I have no idea about its existence at all. Too bad, I rarely went to the building, less to say climbing all the way to the 5th storey.
.
Fried Wanton
Decently nice, with a crispy outer skin. Nothing really special, but eating too much of it will get you a sore throat.
.
Hotplate Beancurd
Minced pork, soft toufu and egg, with some carrots and beans as ornaments. Not a bad dish when eating it hot. Sauce wise is a bit salty, but mixing it with rice will kept you going for more.
.
Mussel with Chilli
This is definitely not the sambal mussel that I know. The chef decided to cook this dish the chinese way. The sauce itself is sweet and hot, with spices, spring onion and small chilli. Quite a unique taste, and the mussels are decently good.
.
Sambal Kang Kong
Nothing special about this dish, the usual that you can get anywhere else.
.
Tomyam Seafood Soup
Finally, a dish that is Thai. The soup is spicy and hot, with a little taste of sourness. To go with the soup are prawns, fishes, mushrooms, potatoes and carrots. Once you start drinking it, the soup is so good that you don't want to stop. Good to drink on a cold day as it can keep you warm, but if the weather is warm and hot like recently, please give this a skip unless you want to have a good sweat out.
