Fall of ANZ Travel Card

Since the announcement of DBS acquiring ANZ retail business in Singapore, ANZ has been reducing the benefits of their signature ANZ Travel Card. From free complementary unlimited access to Veloce lounges, it reduces to two complimentary access to DragonPass lounges around the world when you charge a minimum of $10,000 to your ANZ Travel Card in each calendar quarter from 01 Sep 2016. It looks to finally hit the coffin with the latest T&C revision again.

With effect from 1 April 2017, complimentary airport limousine and lounge access for ANZ Travel Visa Signature Card will cease. Additional bonus 10,000 Travel$ will no longer be awarded to ANZ Travel Cardmembers who pay Annual Fee from the 2nd year of membership.

It looks like DBS is going to kill off ANZ credit cards and migrate the customers over to DBS. Time to redeem the Travel$ to Krisflyer miles and cancel the card.
