Synopsis: Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor
family. Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was
inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he
was rejected. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea, General Chester Phillips
offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment - Operation:
Rebirth. Armed with his indestructible shield and great battle savvy, Captain
America has continued his war against evil both as a sentinel of liberty and as
leader of the Avengers. [Source: Yahoo! Singapore Movies]
All in all, not a bad movie, with lots of adrenaline packed actions and there was never a dull moment. Girls will probably go ga ga over Steve Rogers, especially the scene where he emerged from the steam machine that was transforming him, which unfortunately will put all guys self esteem at an all time low. Don't know what I am talking about? Watch the movie to find out for yourself. I quite like the ending, where Captain America wakes up disorientated after a 70 years sleep in present time New York. With this scene, I am quite certain that we have not seen the last of Captain America.
