18 Mar - Bringing *OEE* on his first trip to Legoland via the Woodlands train crossing to experience what riding on a train is like. We stayed the night at Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel, which is affordable and eateries plenty around the hotel. If you feel like having something nice and lazy to do research, GrabFood is an option which is just a handphone away. For us, GrabFood in Malaysia is always the way to go. RM$50 is more than enough for a full meal for a family of 3. Not sure how is it possible, but food in JB just taste much better compared to Singapore. *shrugs*
Eventually, we settled ourselves at the Duplo Playtown to hide from the rain, while *OEE* is having fun with the sheltered playground. Compared to 5 years ago, there are a few additions in the Imagination Area and we took our first ride at the observation tower where we have a bird eye view of Legoland. Not a bad experience overall! The only pity is *OEE* is just 5cm shy from the safety height restrictions for the thrill rides! Looks like we will return again in the future.
For the journey back to Singapore, we booked a private one way transfer from our hotel back home through SGMYTrips. Didn't encounter any jams along the way and traffic at custom was smooth. Total journey took only 45mins @ S$85! Fast and convenient!
