Useless 100%

I scored my first 100% ever in a test in NUS, BUT, everybody else is also scoring 100%. That makes my 100% USELESS!! Who says Civil Engine is a dumping ground?? They have to seriously reconsider again.....

Of Global Warming and more global warming

Why is it that I keep learning about global warming or doing stuffs related to global warming this semester???

1) Science Gem - Understanding the Universe. Because we study about Earth, we have to touch on Global Warming.

2) Science Gem tutorial - Our group draw on a topic to do presentation. No prize for guessing, its the topic on Global warming.

3) Arts gem Lab - What are the impacts of Global Warming on air travel industry? Global Warming AGAIN!!

I think I can be a environmentalist championing against global warming. The first thing I will do is........Air Strike the people living in Sumatra and Kalimantan who are burning the forest!! PSI today: 130. No wonder NUS feels like Genting today~

Wise Advice

Do not do any strenuous activity when the sky is hazy or else be prepared to bare the consequences.

.

1. Your lip will start feeling dry.
2. All of a sudden, you are drained of all energy, feeling tired.
3. Your body will start feeling funny.(ok something is not right.)
4. You will notice that you cannot feel your heartbeat!! (seriously)
5. Your eyes will start seeing stars. (This is it! Time out!! I need a rest after only playing 15 minutes of soccer. Must be the haze!! PSI read 89 at 4pm. The other time when I am in the same situation, I fainted right in the middle of parade square in secondary school! No.. The same thing must not happened again.)

But, after resting for a while, I continued playing non-stop for the next 2 hours while the PSI continues to climb up! Yeah~~

Project DOWN!!!

I shall formally announce that GEK 1001 project is 99% done~~!! YES!!! 3 straight days and nights of meeting and rushing, the whole thing can finally be closed! I need to catch up on my school work and most importantly, sleep~~

I see that my living room window is now open. It will be a straight 11 storey plunge down. Can I jump out now?? Where is my break??? Sigh~

Test 3 down

Yeah! Test number 3 is down!!! Finally, I have the chance to slack off a bit, do all the catching up that is neccessary before the final round of 3 tests right before the exam. Sigh~ Today test didn't go as well as planned. I can only confirm the answers for 2 out of the 4 questions, which I got correct, hopefully. For the other two, well.... all the people I ask each have different answers. -.-" Cannot blame la, the test is on Fluid Mechanic aka Hydraulic, the most horrible subject this semester that you can find. Bleah!! The test is over, I am going to throw the textbook down the drain and burn all the papers. Muhahaha.

The lecturer has just gone through the test answers for Understanding the Universe. Bravo, she has managed to stun us once....great trickery. From the response in the lecture theatre, I dare say that 95% of the people got it wrong. Bish~ *faint* Unexpectedly, I found two more mistakes in my answers. So that means I got a total of 7 incorrect answers out of 30 questions. My "A" hopeful module has just become a "B" hopeful module le. :(

One more tutorial due tomorrow. Looks like I will not be able to sleep early tonight. Want to slack? Looks like I am not destined for it.

Bad timing

Finally, after 14.5 hours of typing and thinking, the lab report is finally complete!! Break down of the events doing the lab report:

Sat: 1130 - 1830 (straight with no break)
Sat: 2100 - 0200 (the graphs and the calculations using the equation editor is a killer)
Sun: 0930 - 1100 (ask around on msn for questions that I don't know how to answer. Results? No one knows how to answer them either. So, I have to think of a logical answer which I somehow got, by a stroke of inspiration.)

Sun: 1230 - 1330 (wrapping up the conclusion)
Total time spent: 14.5 hours.

Here, I would like to kill the lecturer for making us do such a horrible lab report, consisting of 10% of my CAP.
.

Coming Monday, there will also be a HYDRAULIC test, consisting of 10% of my CAP. Thanks, so that means by Tuesday, I will have to finish 20% of my total CAP for HYDRAULIC. Worst part, I cannot choose what to do first, to study for test or do the horrible lab report, since both contain equal weightage.

Break

Taking a break from doing my formal HYDRAULIC lab report. This one is a killer man, making me think of the past CM1502 lab reports, where there are a lot of graphs and calculations, causing me to do subscript and superscript every now and then. This time, there are not only five graphs to be done, they decide to be funny and include confidence interval as well, using the t-distribution table. I so wanted to just die now, and the haze just irritate me, I have been smelling or should I say puffing them since this morning. Well done, just now PSI hit a high at 150 at 9pm. Smog, haze... Can the people who set the fire just be struck by lightning and die now? Sucks, I totally got no motivation looking at all the submation, sigma, x-bar......Argzzz. Life sucks, not to forget I got a HYDRAULIC test on a freaking MONDAY. LIFE SUCKS.

After one month of furious trading, the chapter is finally closed. I learned quite a lot from my friends about the mechanism of the stocks; even the rise and fall of the price of oil can affect how the stock is going to perform! Well, enough talking. Here is the result:

Delusion

I must try to imagine and convince myself that

1. I love mugging.
2. I like hydraulic. All the tutorial questions is a piece of cake!!
3. Projects can be done in a single day.
4. The dateline is near so I will work doubly hard.
5. I like the 4o pages of readings waiting for me to flip through. They are very interesting indeed!!!!!!
