Japan Day 6 part 3 - Kawaguchi Lake

08-May, approximately 1600 - After coming down from the Kachi Kachi Ropeway, we proceed to the lake side for a boat tour of Lake Kawaguchi. Although Kawaguchi is situated 857m above the sea level, apparently this area was flooded 3 times during the last emperor rein. Bad luck huh?

Our "private" boat. Apparently, we were the only group on board the boat for their last run of the day.

Setting sun by the lake

Fujiyama cookie - A unique brand which baked biscuits that shaped like the Mt. Fuji.

And the shy Mt. Fuji from afar.
