USA day 9 part 2 - Navy Pier

29 Jun - Second half of the day was spent walking around and exploring Chicago City.

Unveiled: 1928
Regeneration commemorated the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. It portrays Chicagoans building the city upon the ashes of the fire.

Finally, the mist cleared in the afternoon, revealing the John Hancock Center

As evening approaches, we arrived at the Chicago Navy Pier, our final destination for the day. We wandered around the pier to soak in the cool evening sun and enjoy the lake breeze.
