New Zealand Day 11 part 1 - Kawarau Gorge, Cromwell Town

14 Jun - Just for the moment, *mds* decides to go for her first ever bungy jump at the scenic Kawarau Gorge. The gorge river is fed by glacier water, apparent from the turquoise color of the water. Walking across the suspension bridge is also an experience, feeling the vibration of the bridge as someone took leap and jump off the bridge.

Up next, we drove on and make a pit stop at the Cromwell Old Town. The historic houses from its old gold rush days are beautifully preserved, together with its picturesque beauty, lined with orchards and vineyards where two distinct rivers met.
