Synopsis: Authorities brutally quarantine a country as it succumbs to fear and chaos when a virus strikes. The literal walling-off works for three decades - until the dreaded 'Reaper' virus violently resurfaces in a major city. An elite group of specialists, captained by Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), is urgently dispatched into the still-quarantined country to obtain a cure by any means necessary. The preview looks interesting at first but upon watching the movie, I find it not as entertaining and good. The plot is just typical: A virus has struck and there will be this new hero out there to venture into hostile territory and find a cure to save the world. Fullstop. The draw / selling point of this movie (to me) is just pure senseless violence, blood spilling everywhere, human flesh splashing around and gore. If you are the one that like this kind of things, I must say this movie will definitely be the movie for you. Otherwise, it kind of get pretty boring sometimes and perhaps some others will get turn off upon seeing the violence. To sum it up, give this movie a miss if you can.
