Up in the Air

Synopsis: From the director of "Thank You For Smoking" and "Juno", Jason Reitman brings a fresh comedy surrounding a human resource administrator (George Clooney) whose life up in the friendly skies becomes his only world as he works to reach his one-millionth frequent flyer mile. He is a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and just after he's met the frequent-traveller woman of his dreams. How will you fare, if most of your life is spent up in the air (alone), away from connecting with your friends or relatives? Can you survive? Probably not. This is a movie where the life of the main cast is turn upside down by a young graduate who introduces a creative method of firing people online. Forced to be grounded, he has to re-establish once lost relationship, and re-think the whole concept of human connection. Not a bad movie to watch if you have the time.
