Japan Day 7 part 1 - Fuji-Q Highland

09-May, approximately 0900 - We woke up pretty early to reach Fuji-Q to be the first few to enter the roller coaster theme park once it opened for the day. There are 4 major roller coasters which are a must to ride in the park. They are Fujiyama, Dodonpa, Eejanaika and Takabisha. Too bad Eejanaika was down for maintenance and we had to give it a miss.

The famous Fujiyama coaster, which is 79 metres tall, 130 km/h, opened in 1996 and was once the world's tallest roller coaster. As of 2007 it is the world's 8th tallest, 5th longest, and 10th fastest roller coaster.

To let you have a feel of riding the Fujiyama, here is a video shot of the whole ride that someone took in the front seat. Enjoy!
