Taiwan Day 4 part 1 - 九族文化村

08-Apr - There is only 1 itinerary planned for the entire day, which is to visit and explore the 九族文化村! Before that, we have to rely on our transport provider, 仁友客運to bring us to our destination which is one hour bus ride away. In order not to waste any time, we got on the first bus out of 台中.

NTD $130 for a two way transport with $80 discount off the usual admission fee of $780

After 1 hour of bus ride, we finally arrived at 九族文化村!

九族文化村 is an amusement park distinctive for its Formosan aboriginal culture theme. Besides this, the park also contains Taiwan's largest European garden and an Amusement Isle made up of roller coaster rides.

Upon entering the gates of 九族文化村, the European garden is the first thing that will greet your eyes.

Nice scenery in the background

Lavande Damour (Lavender Love?)

The main entrance to 九族文化村 finally starts here after the garden

Overlooking the whole European Garden

The original place where One-Piece is supposedly to be on exhibit. Too bad, One-Piece was changed to Teddy Bear theme since mid last year.

Aladdin Square, where amusement rides mainly for the children are located

The only thing that is of interest to us here is the Pirate Ship!

Up next is the Maya Exploration...

Starting with some real coaster actions!

After we are done with the Maya Coaster, we went on to visit the Magic Forest

Initially, we thought that it will be just some fauna and flora exhibits, but we are in for a surprise. The Magic Forest is actually full of teddy bears!

Get ready for some Teddy Bears galore!

I don't know how to describe this but this is one ugly bear =p
