Competitive, or perhaps, a hidden devil?

It has all along been in the back of my mind, subconsciously, didn't want to believe it is true, but the actions keep leading me to think otherwise.
.
Perhaps, it is due to the culture picked up during the school days in the past, where everyone is trying to outdo and outplay each other to reach the highest honour? Thus, the culture picked up is carried on till now?
Perhaps, it is due to to the innate character of the person?
Or perhaps, this is what the person is trying to do along? Pining others down, and climbing on top at other people expense?
Or maybe, the person couldn't express the words well, thus leading me to the wrong conclusion?
.
A dictator most of the time, laying down the jobs others are supposed to do, using "threatening" words (not that I really care about those threats) so that the jobs are done on time.
Always quick to criticise the work others have done, saying they are all rubbish, and it requires a lot of work to be done. Strangely enough, the person's work was never criticise by the person! Oh well, "Hail Hitler!!" Duh~
Always on the lookout for the relationship of people, much like observing the politics in the office, and quick to attack whoever is the weak link. Trying to bring the weaker ones down so that they will never recover? Perhaps~
Trying to emphasize how weak the weaker ones are, attacking their morale and self esteem, leading them to sink down to the the depths of hell.
Quick to eliminate competition, brushing them aside so that the person will emerge the top.
.
Am I thinking too much? Maybe, maybe not. But I truly hope that the person is not a hidden devil in the making, else it will be dangerous...extremely dangerous....

Hmmm... this kind of post is always very scary, always full of hidden meanings.. And it will always activate my thinking cap automatically...

Recently someone else did such a scary post also and got me guessing who the implied protagonist is...

But still, regardless who the person is (though i could picture who you referring to, someone who just fitted ur description so perfectly, or even could be my, who knows), i guess when faced with such a situation, then it's time for: An Eye for an Eye time.

No point be the one getting attacked when you can attack too! It is not evil or mean, it is just a way to survive in this meritocracy society. When you have the powers, make the powers work for you... else *ahem* how to earn S$3 million per annum.

Well, i guess the best solution is not to be affected by such 'attacks', return the blow if possible, openly or secretly. No point being nice to the person who isnt nice to you. Unless you are a vegetarian. =)

Hmmmm.... by saying all these does this mean i've already philoed myself to adopt such tactics and am a hidden devil? Oh no.....

hah, well said, necessary actions (be it openly or secretly) has just begun.

Actually, it has already began some time back, if you notice. =)

Alas, Have I too become a hidden devil? May God save my pitiful soul

Wah.. It's always this kind of person who makes people wary of one another.. Quite sad sia..

But of course there are 101 reasons to why the person did that.. Due to his (let's assume it's a he) past history of experiences, family background, beliefs etc..

Maybe the person tried tt before in his previous schools, and it worked for him, so the person thought it's the way to success..

Maybe his family or friends encourage him to be like that or they themselves behave this way too, so the person was influenced by them..

Maybe the person was blinded by success/perfection to things done that he didn't notice that his friends was hurt/affected by his behaviour.. So maybe you wanna bring this to his attention?

Or maybe Hurting isn't even his intention? Just that his way of expressing is wrong? or he don't know how to express himself well such that you assume he's always finding faults of others.. when maybe he's only taking an objective view of things..?

Of course i may be wrong, since i don't know the person at all (if he ever exists).. But maybe you wanna find out why he's doing so.. by asking or talking to him directly. Also tell him, what you all think about him and how he has affected you all. I think this is the quickest and most direct solution so far... though it may not be easy of cos...

Revenge may be sweet... but it may be bitter if it's all only a misunderstanding...

Some people may be just too straight forward or tactless...

I may be one of these people, cos I tend to critise the work of others if I find something wrong with them...
And especially when I'm stressed, I usually forgo "nice" words...

But hey, of cos the person will never critise his/her work, cos he/she's the one who did it, so to his/her mind, it should be a complete piece of work...

So unless there is a glaring fault with his/her paper, usually they don't see it...

Well, you can be the one to critic it, just be prepared to go into a full length debate...

"Threatening" words??

What kind of a person would use threatening words just to get a job done...
Siao kia...

Threathen him back lar!!!
Or use plently of Sarcasm...

"Wow, if I didn't do this, so-and-so will happened to me?? How--- very "NICE" to work with you..."

"Oh is that your friend?? OMG you actually have a friend??"

And if he/she demands you to explain that, just give a knowing smile and shrug...

Will drive him/her crazy one...

Always developed a very thick skin...
Like that no amount of attacks can bring you down...
In other words...

Be confident of yourself!!!

Be Nice Only To Deserving People!!!

But I agree with YL, it is best to talk it out first...

Misunderstandings is one of the worst way to get into a fight...

summergal & averii: haha what makes you so sure its a he and not a she?? For all you know, I may be referring to a girl that you all dunno lor... haha.
.
well, anyway, to all the readers reading this post and who might think the person might be you, don't think too much. Just treat it that I am babberling nonsense here.
