After having a good night sleep, we set out first thing in the morning to explore the Las Vegas strip. The Strip, as it is called, are famous for their hotel's extravagant decorations. Starting from the North Strip, which is nearest to the Downtown Las Vegas, you can walk the whole day down to the South Strip, which unfortunately is located about 10km away. However, there is always the all day pass for buses around, so you can do your poor legs a few favour by boarding a bus and spare it some walking.
Stratosphere - located at the North Strip. Home to one of the highest roller coaster in Las Vegas.
Inside the Venetian - where we are eagerly finding out the price for The Phantom of the Opera

The Forum Shops - home to all the branded goods

Mirage at night
As night falls, it probably provides the best view of Las Vegas through the usage of beautiful neon lights by the hotels located along the strip. In addition to that, there are also free show performances done by the hotels for the general public to see. Most notable ones are the eruption of a man-made volcano in front of Mirage, and the famous pirate battle in front of Treasure Island.
